OMAHA, NE -- The St. Cloud State Huskies men's hockey team won the first game of the opening round of the NCHC Playoffs 2-1 in double overtime against the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

David Morley scored both goals for the Huskies -- one coming early in the first period and the game winner coming midway through the second overtime period.

SCSU goalie Charlie Lindgren had a stellar performance between the pipes, playing all of the nearly 90-minute game and saving 45 shots.

The win gives the Huskies a 1-0 lead in the first round series against Nebraska-Omaha and can clinch the series with a win tonight.

If SCSU loses tonight, a third game will be played tomorrow night to decide the series.
