ST. PAUL -- The St. Cloud State Huskies lost 59-57 to Concordia-St. Paul on a layup with just seconds left in the game on Saturday.

Concordia's Keith Crockett hit a layup with just 3.1 seconds remaining to give the Golden Bears the victory.

The loss is disappointing, as SCSU held a six-point halftime lead, but could not close out the game down the stretch.

The Huskies' leading scorer, Jordan Poydras, scored 11 points but shot only 4-of-15 from the field.

SCSU's Scottie Stone helped to pick up the slack, finishing with a game-high 18 points.

It was a defensive game for both teams, but especially for St. Coud as the Huskies held Concordia to 31.7% shooting.

With the loss, the Huskies fall to 7-7 on the season and will look to get over .500 against UM-Crookston on Friday.
