Huskies Football Team Falls In Offensive Drout, Fall to Northern State 45-23
ABERDEEN, S.D -- The St. Cloud State University Huskies just couldn't find any offense after the first quarter giver up 38 points in the final three quarters to lose 45-23 against Northern State.
The Huskies were able to strike quickly scoring on a 58-yard touchdown from quarterback Nate Meyer to Matt Hentges.
Meyer then led the team down the field again for a 17-yard touchdown run to give the Huskies a 14-7 led at the end of one.
From there things went quiet for the Huskies as Northern State outscored the team 38-9 in the final three quarters.
The loss puts the Huskies at 3-5 on the season and 2-2 in the NSIC.
St. Cloud State looks to bounce back at home this week as they take on Bemidji State. Kick off is set for 1:00 p.m. at Husky Stadium.
