MIAMI - The #4 ranked SCSU Huskies bounced back with a 3-0 win on Saturday night to earn a weekend split with the Miami Redhawks.

The Huskies remain tied with North Dakota for first place in the NCHC with 39 points.

St. Cloud started the scoring early in the first period with a goal from Jimmy Murray. David Morley would add a power play goal just over a minute later to make it 2-0 Huskies.

Nic Dowd would seal the game for the Huskies in the third period, making it 3-0 with a power play goal.

SCSU was outshot by Miami 33-26 in the contest. Ryan Faragher had a stellar game for the Huskies, making 33 saves for the shutout. Faragher continues to lead the NCHC with 16 wins this season.

St. Cloud State is now 18-7-5 overall and 12-5-3-0 in the NCHC after this weekend. Miami University is now 11-16-3 overall and 5-14-1-1 in the NCHC.

The Huskies return home next weekend for two huge games against North Dakota. Game times are set for 8:07 p.m. on Friday and 7:07 p.m. on Saturday.
