Huskies Blow Past Bemijdi State in Hoops 64-38

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud State University women's basketball team had an impressive victory last (Friday) night against Bemidji State 64-38.

The huskies shot 45% from the field and force Bemidji turnovers into 12 points.

Senior forward Karissa LeCaptain (14 points, 12 rebounds) and Junior guard Chelsea Nooker (10 points, 11 rebounds) led the team each posting a double-double.

The team improves to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in the NSIC.

St. Cloud State will return to action this (Saturday) afternoon as they take on Minnesota-Crookston in Halenbeck Hall at 4 p.m.
