ST. CLOUD - Hundreds came out to support and participate in the seventh annual St. Cloud Veterans Parade this afternoon.

Veterans of all types from the St. Cloud area lined up to take part. Over 400 were expected to participate today from 42 different units.

Randy Krebs is a co-coordinator of the parade, he says the event started years ago as a way for people to get out and support veterans in the area:

"We started the event seven years ago just as a way to get people out to honor the vets."

The parade started at the VA Medical Center and finished at Apollo High School. Krebs says that it's always great to see the community come out and support Minnesota Veterans:

"It's a lot of fun to come out and spend a good day honoring people who have given a lot to help our country become what it is."
