ST. CLOUD - Hundreds of people from Central Minnesota will gather at Lake George in St. Cloud on Saturday for the annual "Walk To End Alzheimer's".

Regional Center Director Carol Thelen says the St. Cloud area has a history of turning out for the cause.

Thelen says they're on pace to have about 1,400 walkers this year.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., with an opening ceremony at 10:15 a.m.  There are one-and-two-mile walk routes.

St. Cloud is one of 15 cities in the upper Midwest hosting a "Walk To End Alzheimer's" on Saturday.
