Humane Society’s Companion Walk Raises Nearly $54,000

ST. CLOUD – The Tri-County Humane Society has released their fundraising total from their annual Companion Walk.

The 25th annual event held on September 7th raised $53,890, that’s over $3,500 more that what was raised last year.

It was a hot day for a 5k walk, the course had plenty of water available for the dogs. After the race, dogs could also jump into several pools open for them to cool off.

The Twin Cities Disc Dog Club was also on the scene, with dogs and owners doing tricks with frisbees.
