Hoye’s Home Furnishings and Appliance Gets Ready to Close After 33 Years of St. Cloud Business

ST. CLOUD - You've probably heard a great many of their ads and jingles through the years here on WJON - and now, Hoye's Home Furnishings and Appliance is getting ready for their last and final sale.

The well-known St. Cloud retailer will be shuttering it's doors in a matter of weeks.

Owner Bob Hoye says it's been a great run.

Hoye says he's been humbled by the number of people who have thanked him for being where they've shopped for years.

Hoye opened his first store on the east side of St. Cloud in 1978, later relocating to the current location off of Division Street on Park Avenue.

Hoye says he's had the building, located off Division on Park Avenue, on the market for a few years, and wasn't sure when the right opportunity to sell would come.

He says he's looking forward to devoting time to volunteering on a few non-profit boards.
