ST. CLOUD - This (Thursday) morning's snowfall was a hot topic for most of us today.  And it got us questioning - "how common is it for us to have measurable snow in October?".  The answer is, it's really not that common.

On average, St. Cloud only has about .07" of snow during the whole month of October.  Most years we have no snow, or just a trace.

But, recent years with measurable October snowfall include: 2009 when we had 2 1/2 inches, and 2002 when we had 6 1/2 inches.
