Housekeeper Charged With Sexually Assaulting Guest

ST. PAUL (AP) - The head of housekeeping at a St. Paul hotel is accused of sexually assaulting a guest.

Twenty-five-year-old Nolasco Lopez Ramirez is being held on $100,000 bail and is expected to appear in Ramsey County District Court Tuesday. A criminal complaint says Lopez Ramirez entered the guest's room at a Days Inn last Saturday and sexually assaulted her in the bathroom while the woman's 9-month-old baby was in the room.

The woman told police her attacker left the room after she threatened to scream louder. Police arrested Lopez Ramirez after the woman identified him. It was not immediately clear if the defendant has an attorney.
