CLEARWATER -- We have more information on the house fire in Clearwater Wednesday.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they got a 911 call at about 1:30 indicating a house at 232 Englewood Road was totally engulfed.

Fire departments from Clearwater, Clear Lake and St. Augusta responded and put the flames out. However, there was extensive damage to the home. No one was home at the time of the blaze and no damage estimate is currently available.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but investigators are looking at a wood-burning appliance as a possible cause.
