Hotel Check-ins on the Rise [AUDIO]

UNDATED – The hotel business is slowly rebounding this year, and at least one report says next year should be an even bigger year.
Industry tracker TravelClick says occupancy nationwide is expected to increase by 5%, and rates will go up by about 4%.
Julie Lunning is the Executive Director of the St. Cloud Convention and Visitors Bureau. She says hotel rooms are starting to fill-up locally again as well.

Lunning says hotels in the St. Cloud metro area are somewhat insulated from big swings in room rentals because we have a lot of events that happen consistently each year.
