Hormel Foods CEO Retiring

AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) - Hormel Foods chief executive officer will retire at the end of next month.

Jeffrey Ettinger joined Hormel Foods in 1989 and has held numerous titles. He served as chairman of the board, president, and CEO from November 2006 to October 2015, when James Snee took over the role of president.

Hormel directors have elected Snee to be the company's next CEO, effective October 31st.

Ettinger will continue to serve as chairman of the board.
