Hope Kenyon Awarded St. Cloud Youth of the Year [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD - The Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota announced Hope Kenyon as their St. Cloud Youth of the Year and $2,000 scholarship award winner.

Kenyon has been involved with the club for five years. A close friend encouraged her to go to a meeting and she's been hooked ever since.

Her personal struggles, drive to help the community, club involvement and future career plans were all considered during the judging process.

Kenyon has many goals for her future including furthering her education at St. Cloud State University this fall. She has plans to major in criminal justice with hopes of becoming a juvenile probation officer.

Kenyon will go on to compete for the State Youth of the Year award March 18.
