Home a Total Loss in Meeker County Fire

MEEKER COUNTY - Meeker County authorities responded to a house fire on Monday afternoon.

The Sheriff's Office says they were called just after 1:20 p.m. to a home in the 14,400 block of County Road 1 in Cedar Mills Township.

The renter of the home, 27-year-old Dustin Langan wasn't home at the time.

The land owner went to the house to let a dog outside and found the home filled with smoke.

The home was a total loss and nobody was hurt. There were no lost animals in the fire. The cause of the blaze is unknown. The Hutchinson Fire Department is investigating.
