UNDATED -- AAA Minnesota is predicting relatively stable gas prices for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.

AAA spokesman Mark Peterson says they're predicting more drivers over the Memorial Day weekend than we've seen in the last 10 years thanks to stable prices and a strong economy.  He says they're predicting 37,200,000 travelers nationwide to drive 50 miles or more this weekend.

Peterson says there may be a small jump before the weekend, but they aren't predicting any large price spikes at the pump right now.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is selling for $2.58.  Last year gas was selling for an average of $3.48 a gallon in Minnesota.
