GENOLA -- A Holdingford man who crashed his ATV into a car was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with serious injuries.

Mary Swenson from the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened shortly before 6:30p.m. yesterday (Saturday) at the Red Rooster bar in Genola.

Sixty-nine-year-old Martin Strom, of Holdingford, pulled into the Red Rooster bar parking lot when he lost control of the ATV he was driving, and crashed into a parked car.

Strom's granddaughter 7-year-old Sophia Strom, from Long Prairie, was riding with him. She was wearing a helmet and was not hurt.

Strom was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to St. Gabriel Hospital in Little Falls and was later airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center.
