Holdingford Falls to BOLD In Overtime; Becker Plays Tonight

The Holdingford Huskers lost 23-20 in double overtime to BOLD in the Class 2-A State Tournament Quarterfinals at St. Cloud State Thursday night.  The game was tied at 14 at the end of regulation.  Both team scored touchdowns in the first overtime but both teams missed their extra points.  Nick Kubesch of BOLD made a field goal in the 2nd overtime to win the game.

Mitch Messman ran for 55 yards and a touchdown and threw for 144 yards and a touchdown for Holdingford.  Jon Skwira ran for 118 yards and a touchdown for the Huskers.

Becker will play DeLaSalle in the Class 4-A State Quarterfinals at 7pm tonight at Hopkins High School.
