Historic Sites Hike Admission Fees

Charles Lindbergh House (Minnesota Historical Society)

UNDATED – It’s going to cost you a little more money to visit some of the state’s most historic sites.

The Minnesota Historical Society has announced a $1 per ticket increase at it’s 26 locations.  In addition, the Minnesota State Capitol will begin encouraging voluntary donations for its free public tours.

The Historical Society says the changes are necessary because of a $1.6 million cut in state funding.

Their last admission increase was back in 2008.
