ST. CLOUD - MnDOT crews will be tearing down the pedestrian bridge over Highway 23 in east St. Cloud Monday night.

The work will begin at 7:00 p.m., and is expected to be completed by the Tuesday morning rush hour.  During the work, traffic will be detoured on Wilson Avenue, East St. Germain, and Lincoln Avenue.

Crews will be replacing the existing bridge and sidewalk approaches with bridge aesthetics that match the new Mississippi River Granite City Crossing Bridge.

The work is scheduled to be finished by the end of August.
