Highway 23 Paving Work to Begin Sunday Evening

ST. CLOUD -- The re-paving project on Highway 23 through St. Cloud gets underway Sunday evening.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be working on Highway 23 also known as Division Street from Cooper Avenue to one block west of Highway 15.

MnDOT crews will be milling off the existing pavement and putting down new pavement over the coming weeks. The paving work will be done primarily at night and will lane closures between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m..

Work during the day will require shoulder closures.

The project includes new pavement, pedestrian ramps, traffic signals and fire hydrants.

Weather permitting, the project should be done in early August.
