BIG LAKE -- Unseasonably warm weather has helped work crews make good progress on the Highway 10 construction project between Clear Lake and Big Lake.

Reconstruction of the eastbound lanes at Big Lake continues with new concrete paving going in this week. Work on the shoulders, curb and gutter and striping will be done over the next two weeks.

Traffic will then be switched over to the new eastbound lanes once the work is finished.

Work is also taking place to prepare the westbound lanes for re-construction. In mid-May, contractors will start paving the westbound lanes in Big Lake and work their way to the West.

The project is scheduled to be completed in early August.
