High Winds Blow Semi Onto It’s Side in Wright County

OTSEGO -Early morning strong winds cause crash in Wright County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened on Highway 101 at 90th Street in Otsego around 8:45 a.m on Sunday.

Authorities say 56-year-old Peter Lakin from Brainerd was driving a Freightliner truck and trailer south on Highway 101 when strong winds blew the truck onto it's side.

Lakin was taken to Maple Grove Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
