High School Football Preview; Tech Hosts Moorhead For Homecoming [Predictions]

Week 5 of the High School Football season starts tonight when St. Cloud Tech hosts Moorhead at St. Cloud State’s Husky Stadium at 7pm.  The Tigers are 3-1 while Moorhead and 4-0 and ranked #7 in the state in this week’s Class 5A state poll.  Tech is coming off a 28-6 win at Sauk Rapids-Rice last Friday.  Tech is led by running back Jacob Peterson who ran for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Storm.  The Tigers are playing their home games at SCSU with Clark Field deemed unplayable due to problems with the locker rooms and concession stands.

Sartell-St. Stephen is ranked #10 this week in the Class 4A state high school football poll and will host Fergus Falls tonght at 7pm.  The Sabres are 4-0 and coached by first year head coach Scott Hentges.

Apollo is looking for their first win when they host Brainerd tonight at 7pm.  The Eagles lost 21-7 at Alexandria last night after playing well only to lose the first 3 weeks.  Apollo is 0-4.

Cathedral is 2-2 and they play at Princeton tonight.  The Crusaders have lost back to back weeks against Litchfield and Albany.

Rocori hosts Sauk Rapids-Rice Saturday at 1pm for their homecoming at 1pm.  Rocori is ranked #2 this week in the Class 4A poll and are 4-0.  The Storm are 0-4.
