Hemesath Ready for Role of St. John’s President [AUDIO]

COLLEGEVILLE - The new president of St. John's University is spending his first week on campus this week.  Michael Hemesath is just the 13th president in the school's history.

He's a 1981 graduate of St. John's, which is one of the reasons why he wanted the job.

Hemesath is the first layperson appointed to a full time presidential term at St. John's University.

He officially took over the role as president on July 1st, but he's only been on campus since Monday.
