HAVEN TOWNSHIP -- A chunk of undeveloped land in Sherburne County's Haven Township could one day be a premiere park.

The county bought the 63 acres five years ago, but so far they haven't made any improvements.  Now they've hired landscape architect Adam Arvidson to start working on a master plan for the project.  He says he envisions a variety of uses, including: hiking and biking trails, sand volleyball courts, sites for tent camping, and a disc golf course.

Arvidson says he's looking for your input on what you'd like included in the future park.  He'll be at the site tomorrow (Thursday) from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. -- if you'd like to see it for yourself.  And There will be an open house from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow night at Clear Lake Town Hall.
