ALBANY - You can help feed starving children.

On Saturday there will be a food packaging event at the Albany High School gym.  The non-profit organization ImpactLives will provide all the ingredients to assemble meals.  The packages will be shipped to the Dominican Republican where Albany graduate Kristin Wolford works as a missionary.

The goal on Saturday is to gather enough money and volunteers to put together more than 285,000 meals.  That's 1,320 boxes, which costs $54 and includes enough food to feed a family of six for a month.
