Helicopter Work Planned Along I-94 Near Freeport

FREEPORT - You might notice some low-flying helicopters along Interstate 94, between Freeport and Alexandria.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the helicopter is part of the CapX2020 utility installation.

The Minnesota State Patrol, MnDOT, and the utility companies urge drivers to avoid gawking at the helicopter, and to keep moving through the work zone.

The Alexandria to St. Cloud work is the second phase of the CapX2020 transmission line project.  The work is expected to be completed in May.
