Helicopter Stringing Transmission Wire Over I-94

ALEXANDRIA - Watch for traffic delays, if you're driving on Interstate 94 near Alexandria tomorrow (Monday).

A helicopter will be stringing transmission wire across I-94 between Osakis and Alexandria.

Traffic may be stopped temporarily.  State Patrol troopers will be on site. The work is expected to take less than an hour.

Four additional I-94 wire crossings will happened between Alexandria and St. Cloud this summer.

The work is part of the CapX2020 project.
