Helicopter Inspections to Start Along I-94

UNDATED -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation wants to alert you to powerline inspections taking place along Interstate 94 starting tomorrow (Wednesday).

Great River Energy will be using helicopters to inspect the CapX2020 power lines between Monticello and Fargo. You may notice helicopters briefly hovering near the roadway at times.

MnDOT is asking you to keep your eyes on the road and look ahead for slow traffic.

The work should be done by the end of the month.
