Helen Lovelett, 90, Sauk Rapids

May 29, 1927 - November 11, 2017

 
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the chapel at the Good Shepherd Community, Sauk Rapids for Helen Lovelett, age 90, who passed away Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Wednesday at the Good Shepherd Chapel. Rev. Keith Weise will officiate and burial will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.

Helen was born May 29, 1927 in Ayr, ND to Paul and Elizabeth (Firkus) Melanson. She married the love of her life Francis Lovelett on August 7, 1943 in Rock Island, IL. Helen worked at Fingerhut for over 15 years before later retiring and was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Helen is survived by her children, Judy Lovelett of Sedona, AZ, Daniel (Gerlinda) Lovelett of Columbia, SC; sister, Virginia Wills of Milaca, MN; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband (Francis Lovelett); son (Vernon Lovelett); sisters (Marjorie Bender and Irene Thompson); and brothers in law (Walter Bender, Ray Thompson, and James Wills).
