Heavy Weekend Rain Collapses Lake Wobegon Trail Culvert

STEARNS COUNTY - A portion of the Lake Wobegon Trail one mile west of Melrose is closed after heavy rains caved in a culvert.

Trail users looking to use the portion of the trail will be rerouted for two miles onto adjacent county roads.

The trail re-opens again to the west of 365th Avenue, or in the area of Memoryville Museum.

The trail will be closed until parks and highway staff repair the damage.
