UNDATED - Temperatures will remain cool through the rest of the week into the weekend, with highs generally in the 50s and 60s, and even occasional 40s.

Ahead of a potent storm system expected to bring plenty of rain starting on Wednesday and lasting through Thursday, breezy conditions are expected for much of the day Wednesday, especially out in western Minnesota.

Scattered to numerous showers will develop across the region tomorrow and continue through much of Wednesday night and Thursday, occasionally with a few thunderstorms.

Rainfall amounts will be fairly high with this event as some locations may receive well over an inch of rain.
