Heat Advisory Issued Until 9:00 p.m. tonight

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Stearns, Benton and Sherburne counties - as well as the rest of the southern third of the state.

The advisory is in effect until 9:00 p.m. Heat indices will range from 95 to 100.

The prolonged period of hot and humid conditions has compounded the risk of heat related stress and illness.
