The blast of hot temps we've been expecting for August hit us this week, as a Heat Advisory was posted on Tuesday. We've all heard that hydration is the key to stopping heat exhaustion. Drinking water is paramount, but this week, Dr. Eigen tipped us off that drinking coconut water can give your body an extra water absorption boost. He says it's a much better alternative than sports drinks when it comes to hydrating. According to the Doc, the secret is electrolytes.
