Head On Crash Leaves Little Falls Woman With Serious Injuries

MORRISON COUNTY -- A 73-year-old Little Falls woman suffered serious injuries after a head on crash in Morrison County yesterday.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened around 4:40 p.m. along Highway 27 and Game Farm Road.

Twenty-four-year-old Henry Richard of Pierz was driving westbound on Highway 27 when slick roads conditions caused him to spin out and cross the center line. Richard crashed into 65-year-old Karen Hagen of Little Falls who was traveling eastbound. Both drivers sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Richard's passenger 21-year-old Derek Van Zee of Hillman also sustained non-life threatening injuries.  Hagen's passenger 73-year-old Mary Nelson of Little Falls was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls to be treated for serious injuries.
