Haws Honored for Work on Beaver Island Trail

ST. CLOUD - Stearns County has honored Larry Haws for his work on the Beaver Island Trail.

Haws helped the project get started while he was in the St. Cloud Park and Rec Department in 1991.  And, as a County Commissioner, Haws helped to extend the trail to Warner Lake County Park in Clearwater.

Stearns County Commissioners presented Haws with a plaque now because they are nearing the end of the trail acquisition phase for the Beaver Island Trail extension.
