ST. CLOUD - Want more information on the upcoming referendum for the St. Cloud Area School District?

District 742 has announced a handful of community presentations on the topic. The presentations will be as follows:

  • September 22nd at 6:00 p.m. - St. Cloud City Hall
  • October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. - Apollo High School Resource Center (a tour will follow)
  • October 11th at 7:00 p.m. - Tech High School Resource Center (a tour will follow)
  • October 19th at 10:00 a.m. - Whitney Senior Center
  • November 1st at 7:00 p.m. - Apollo High School Resource Center (a tour will follow)

St. Cloud area voters will be going to the polls on November 8th to decide on whether to build a new Tech High School and upgrade Apollo High School.

The ballot will have two questions. The first asks for $104.5 million for a new Tech High School on 33rd Street South. The second question asks for $38.75 million to repair, renovate and upgrade Apollo High School.

Question one would need to pass in order for question two to pass.
