The Minnesota Golden Gopher men's hockey team lost its fifth player so far this offseason on Saturday.

Forward Erik Haula has signed an entry level contract with the Minnesota Wild, joining Nick Bjugstad, Zach Budish, Mark Alt and Nate Schmidt as players to leave the program early.

Haula, drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 NHL Draft, charted 16 goals and 35 assists during his junior season in 2012-13. The Finland native notched 124 points during his three-year career.
