Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Church of God in Eden Valley (553 Maple St. Eden Valley, MN 55329) for Harriet Emma Louise Miller, age 98, of Paynesville who passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Washburn Court in Paynesville. Pastor Dale Swartz will officiate. Burial will take place in the Eden Lake Cemetery.
Family and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Church in Eden Valley. Arrangements are with the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville.

Harriet was born on December 15, 1916 on the family farm in Eden Lake Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to William and Emma (Jordening) Blomker. She worked at the Masonic Home in Minneapolis where she met the love of her life Glynn Milller whom she married on April 23, 1963. Together they owned and operated the Sunrise Motel in Laverne before moving to Paynesville. She worked in the kitchen at the Koronis Assembly Grounds. Harriet was a member of the Church of God, the American Legion Auxiliary in Eden Valley, the Disabled American Veterans, past member of the V.F. W. Auxiliary and a Deaconess in the Church of God.

She enjoyed flowers, gardening, crochet and quilting with the Martha Circle at Methodist Church in Paynesville.

Harriet is survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glynn on December 2, 1995; and her three sisters and three brothers.
