Halfway Jam Music Festival Gets Underway Today

ROYALTON -- A three-day rock n' roll show gets underway near Royalton today.

Halfway Jam gets its name from the organizer's longstanding moniker that the festival grounds are "halfway between Heaven and the Twin Cities."  Classic Rock band 38 Special headlines this year's show along with Queensryche, Jackyl, Molly Hatchet and Blackfoot.

The three-day show boasts 26 bands on two stages over three days.
