Guy F. Anderson, 73, Pease

Guy F. Anderson, age 73, of Pease, Minnesota, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the University of Minnesota, Fairview Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Guy F. Anderson was born on March 2, 1942 in Lebanon, IN, the son of Guy and Dorothy (Hoover) Anderson. He graduated from Lebanon High School and then attended Perdue University where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. Guy took a job at GE as sales engineer and became a manager. He retired from GE after 36 years. Guy married Donamae Burland on May 10, 1975 in Nashua Iowa. Guy loved life. He had numerous hobbies, not limited to, fishing, hunting, woodworking, welding, skiing, RVing, airplanes, tinkering on cars and with gadgets. He loved taking his family on numerous trips and vacationing. Guy enjoyed time outdoors taking care of his Lake home by snow plowing and mowing the lawn. He enjoyed Star Wars and other Sci-Fi movies, Harry Potter and reading Louis LaMour.

He is survived by his wife Donamae; children, April Anderson, Brent Anderson, Deb (Brad) Feero and Denice Brudwick; grandchildren, Danielle (Chris) Smith, Jesse Spangler, Jamie Spangler, Mason Lindquist, Austin Gloe, Tayler (Liz) Feero and Austin Feero; great grandchildren, Myles, Coby, Kaitlyn, Blake, Olivia and Cayden; brother-in-law Gene Ryan; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
