Grove City Man Dead After Rollover Near Litchfield

MEEKER COUNTY - A Grove City man is dead after a rollover in Meeker County on Wednesday night.

The incident happened just before 7:00 p.m. west of the intersection of County Road 11 and County Road 31 near Litchfield.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Spencer Latham of Grove City was driving a 1989 Ford Mustang westbound on County Road 11, when he entered the south ditch. The car rolled and Latham was ejected.

Deputies found him dead at the scene and determined he wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Authorities are continuing to investigate to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Litchfield Police Department, Litchfield Fire Department, Litchfield rescue, Gold Cross Ambulance and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.
