Grimm Previews Gophers And Iowa [AUDIO]

The Minnesota Golden Gopher men’s basketball team heads to Carver-Hawkeye Arena Sunday to take on Iowa. The Gophers are currently in sixth place in the Big Ten Conference, while the Hawkeyes check in in ninth.
Gophers play-by-play announcer Mike Grimm joined Lee and Dave on the Granite City Cafe (12-2 pm, M-F) Friday to talk about the matchup.
Grimm said he expects a tight game, similar to the team’s last matchup at Williams Arena on February 3rd.

A raucous atmosphere is expected in Iowa, and Grimm says that the Gophers have actually played pretty well on the road despite a losing record away from home this season.
