COLD SPRING - The Great Northern Theatre Company is presenting "Fiddler on the Roof."  This is the second time the Great Northern Theatre Company has put on the play, and director Vicki Meyer says they are excited to do it again.

"It's been a very favorite show of people in the area, and so we are excited to be doing it. This is just more than putting on a play. It's an event that we all look forward to, and to spend time together, and to bring joy to ourselves and to everyone that is watching."

Meyer says the crowd can expect excitement from the show. She gave credit to the actors in the play saying they've been doing a phenomenal job.

"All the actors are having a blast. If you look on Facebook, everybody is posting pictures, and really proud of themselves, and the jobs that they're doing."

Meyer has played Golda in the play before, however she says it's been fun to bring the show together as the director.

"I'm just excited to see it come together. It's really a lot more fun to be able to put all of the pieces together, and there are so many pieces that have to come together for a play, and I just think that Great Northern has really done a good job at bringing all those pieces together. So that's why I'm excited."

Opening night in on July 31st at 7:00 pm. "Fiddler on the Roof" will also have showings on August 1st and 2nd at 7:00 pm and a matinee showing on August 3rd at 2:00 p.m. There are also shows on August 6th, 7th, and 8th at 7:00 pm.
