Steven Wright

ST. CLOUD – A wildfire in St. Cloud is being investigated as a possible arson fire.

St. Cloud Fire Department Batallion Chief Jerry Raymond says the call came in at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, for a fire in the grassy area just to the east of Serenity Drive.  About 10 acres burned.

A witness reported seeing two juveniles running from the area.

There was no property damage, and no injuries.

The cause of the fire is not known.

The St. Cloud Fire Department was assisted by crews from Clearwater, St. Augusta, Sauk Rapids, and Waite Park.
