The Granite City Renegades are a part of the Minnesota Premiere Football League, which consists of two divisions of four teams each. The Renegades play in a division with the Willmar Broncos, the Twin City Rhinos and the Brainerd Lumberjacks.

Brett Weaver is the team's owner, president, head coach and director of operations. He says that the team draws from the St. Cloud area to stock it's roster.

The players of the MPFL possess a variety of skill sets and come from a variety of backgrounds. Some have pro aspirations.

The Renegades have had a good season in 2013 with a record of 4-2. There are still two games remaining in the regular season, with both coming on the road.

If the Renegades win one of the two games, they will host a playoff game.

You can find more information on the Renegades through social media and on the web.
