Granite City Lumberjacks Win in Shootout 3-2

VADNAIS HEIGHTS - The Granite City Lumberjacks came back from a 2-0 deficit and defeated the Twin City Steel in a shootout 3-2 last night.

Granite City was down 2-0 in the second period. The Lumberjacks got goals from Drew Otto and Aidan Verbeke to tie the game in regulation. Granite City won the shootout 2-1.

The Lumberjacks had a grand total of 45 shots on goal. Austin Wilson made 28 saves in front of the net for Granite City.

The Lumberjacks will host the Minnesota Flying Aces Monday night for their first annual Veterans Night game. Proceeds from the game will benefit the Defending the Blue Line organization.
