Governor Dayton Opening Bass Season on Mille Lacs Saturday

MILLE LACS -- On Saturday, Governor Mark Dayton will head to Mille Lacs for the state bass fishing opener.

Ron Schara and Bassmaster Champion Seth Feider will join the Governor to show the lake's status as one of the 10 Best Bass Lakes in America according to Bassmaster Magazine.

Schara says Mille Lacs is a great spot for fishing.

"While anglers wait for a walleye comeback, there's no reason to avoid Mille Lacs this summer if you like to catch fish".

The Governor will launch from Isle Public Water Access, near McQuoid's Inn.
